Google: the tech giant, well known as the search company. Other than the search giant, Google is an advertising company too and it offers various products and services like Android, Automaker, Research Labs, AI and much more.

Well, there are many Google products and services from which users are still unaware of. Here, I am going to describe various Google mobile apps that users are unaware of and it’s worth exploring these apps.

With Google Androidify you can create your own Android character. They can be a family member or your best friends or anyone. Androidify is available on both web and Android version. You can give shape and size of the Android character and also stretch and scale. There are lots of options available for customization and modification of character your created.

#2 Google Authenticator

Google Authenticator app can be a replacement for 2-step verification method using SMS or via call. It is available for both Android and iOS. It adds an extra layer of security and secures your account from attacks like hijacking. It generates an additional code that you need to enter as the 2nd step verification. The primary advantage is that it also works offline.

#3 Google Gesture Search

Google Gesture Search is only available for Android users. It allows you to search the content right from your smartphone like apps, settings, bookmarks, music by just drawing letters or numbers on your Android screen. It will refine results as per your gesture. Using this app is fun.

Snapseed is an photo editing app which was previously available only on Desktop but now it is available on both Android and iOS. It accumulates with lots of professional photo editing features like one tap retouch, Transformation, Selective adjust, Healing and many more to use. I would like to say that use it and know it. It’s amazing.

#5 Intersection Explorer

Intersection Explorer is Android-only app. It is a map but it is very helpful app for the blind and low vision users to get the basic understanding about the layout of the streets and intersection in neighborhood. It speaks out the current layout of the streets and intersection, followed by touch and dragging your finger on the map.  This app has not been updated since 2013, since it’s tough to say that Google officially support this app or not.

#6 Expeditions

Google Expeditions is now only available for Android, but soon it would be available on iOS. It is a virtual reality teaching tool which let you join virtual tour around the world. It could be use by a small group and a classroom, where teacher can act as guide to lead the group on the tour through collections.
