While setting up Android 7.0 Nougat enabled phone for the first time it prompt user with three options as shown in screenshot below. Well, you can select first option if you are coming from older Android Device and willing to import data. Choose second option to simply continue with your Google credentials. Now, the third option is for the users that are coming from iOS device (i.e. iPhone, iPad), so choose third option if you are coming from iOS devices.

Choosing the third option would ask you to navigate to this URL https://www.android.com/switch/ from your iDevice which contains the detailed instructions for backing up existing data and restore it on your Android device. That URL contains the step-by-step guide on importing contacts, photos, music, email and find your favorite apps. To implement this you will need a Google account. Once you have it upload all your data to Google from your iDevice.

Well, it’s a bit different for importing contacts from iOS to Android. It is the process of few steps. You need to export the contact from iCloud into a vCard file format. And import that vCard file to Gmail to get all your contacts. While photos and music data could be uploaded using Google Photos and Google Play Music Manager app for iOS. You cannot export apps from iOS to Android as both platform are different. But Google Play have more than 1.3 million apps to choose from.

Apple has made easy to migrate from Android to iOS with the Apple app (Move to iOS) available on Google Play Store.
